Machine Learning Foundations 1

ML Foundations 1 is a six-hour session that provides foundation knowledge about AI and ML. Upon completion of this workshop, participants are able to: ● Define artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and data science and the relationship between the disciplines; ● Define the role of automation and identify where it’s an effective tactic; ● Understand how a company arrives at an AI solution, including the pros and cons of build, buy and partner models; ● Understand where AI can create business value and competitive advantage; ● Properly construct an ML question related to business problems and objectives; ● Identify red flags as they are scoping or executing an AI project; ● Understand some of the ethical and societal considerations around the application of AI.
